Thursday, July 16, 2026 – Pool Closed
Due to poor air quality, the pool is closed today for the safety of our members and staff.
After monitoring the air quality throughout the region this morning, we closed the pool today due to unhealthy air conditions caused by wildfire smoke.
While the pools themselves are safe to operate, today’s air quality is not safe for prolonged outdoor activity. Our lifeguards and managers spend entire shifts outside, and swimming increases the amount of smoke and fine particles people breathe in. Out of an abundance of caution for both our staff and members, we believe closing the pools is the most responsible decision.
We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day and will reopen the facilities as soon as air quality improves to an acceptable level. Current data is showing that the levels will remain very unhealthy to hazardous for today, 7/16/26.
Conditions show improvement for tomorrow to appropriate levels for outdoor activities to resume.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we prioritize the health and safety of your members and our staff. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
